Up in the attic, the toys found an old chessboard. Nobody taught them the rules, so each one made up its own plan. Not every plan is a good one, though. Each toy guards a level of the chess passport. What you learn on that level is the key to beating the toy's homemade plan.
Your games and settings are stored on this device. Each finished game is also sent to Loftet, with the moves and the day, but without a name, a time of day, or anything that shows who played. That is how the toys get better.
